Kristina holds a Certificate in Film Scoring from UCLA and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from San Francisco State University. She studied bassoon performance and music composition under, Rob Weir of the San Francisco Symphony, Zakarias Grafilo of The Alexander String Quartet, Dr. Wendell Hanna, and Dr. Richard Festinger. She was a bassoonist in the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony from 2011 to 2013. Kristina also taught bassoon and theory privately for 3 years. She has enjoyed subbing as a worship leader at Rose City Church in Pasadena and at local LA churches. Kristina is currently working as a freelance composer and orchestrator for films, albums, weddings, and anything in between.
Outside of music, Kristina enjoys hiking, backpacking, community events, family and food. She hopes to soon embark on completing the entire Pacific Crest Trail that stretches from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. All of these things highly influence Kristina as a musician and composer.
